My aim is to make professional counselling and psychotherapy a possibility for everyone who requires it, setting the fee policy to promote access by those who can not afford this intervention privately. The standard rate fees are used to support the subsidised fee work that I offer to other clients.

Fees

We use the first 10 minutes to assess and see if counselling is suitable and if it could be helpful to you.

If we choose to continue we then discuss the number of sessions that may be required - a counselling agreement.

We will then commence with a counselling session and the fee will be £40 for a fifty-minute session. However this can be negotiated on a sliding scale according to income when you contact me for an appointment.

For example, the fee of £40 is on family incomes over 30K, the fee for a family income between 25K and 29K is set at £35, under 25K is £25 per session and this is the cut-off point. The initial session is £40 unless you think you may qualify for the subsidised fee but please mention this when making your appointment. If this is the case you will be required to bring evidence to substantiate this on your first appointment.

You may contact me by telephone or email to discuss and ask any questions you might have regarding the type of therapy, what the process involves or any other concern.

Tel. 02891 464771 Mob.07768585274 or juliedodds@hotmail.com

The fee is payable for cancelled sessions, unless sufficient notice (48 hours) is given.

If counselling continues beyond the initial agreement the same arrangements apply.
